Welcome to Susquenita Elementary School! We are excited for your child to begin a journey that will flourish through the years.

School Bus

Susquenita Elementary School is one of the largest elementary schools in central Pennsylvania serving approximately 700 students in grades K-4. As a large school, we can provide many programs and services to the students and community while still retaining the welcoming feeling of a small-town school.

The faculty and staff of Susquenita Elementary School are focused on providing students with quality education and a positive learning experience. We encourage all parents/guardians to maintain regular communications with their child's teachers and be actively involved in the elementary school community. Checking the District calendar, website, and our Facebook page for upcoming events and activities will help keep you informed.

If you should have any questions, please feel free to contact the office. We are looking forward to meeting your child and helping foster a love of learning.

SES Belief Statements

  • A high-quality elementary school provides a safe, supportive environment in which all students meet high expectations academically, socially, and emotionally through differentiated learning activities utilizing 21st century tools and technology.
  • An effective teacher forms strong relationships with students and families, differentiates learning through varied and challenging activities to meet all learners in an inclusive and supportive environment, collaborates with colleagues and families, and utilizes multiple data sources to focus student learning across all subjects.
  • A successful elementary student is able to respect themselves, others, and the world around them; collaborate with others to solve problems using their creativity, imagination, knowledge, and skills; communicate clearly in multiple forms and with diverse people; develop a persistent love of learning with the confidence needed to take risks when ready.
