Bullying Prevention

The Olweus Bullying Prevention Program is a research-based program. Our faculty and staff were trained in the spring and will implement weekly lessons beginning in the fall. The program is proactive in nature and explicitly teaches students how to deal with bullying and prevent bullying around the school. Parents and the community are an important part of preventing bullying and will receive further information throughout the school year. Please follow the included links for more information.

If you believe a student is being bullied, please contact his or her teacher, the school counselor, or the principal to make a report. A developmentally appropriate approach involving the student's family will be taken to investigate the report and assign appropriate consequences, if applicable.
